Great Chart Sailors' And Soldiers' War Fund

The Friends of Great Chart received a number of donations of souvenirs during the war and they exhibited the articles as a way of raising funds.

At the end of the war all the items were gathered together and went on display in The Great Chart Local War Museum for many years in the Old Pest House building adjacent to the Church of St.Mary's Great Chart.

The exhibition was later moved to the Ashford Borough Museum where most of the exhibits can still be found today including the catalogue of soldier photographs.
